Brush Collection

Public Works Crews collect brush each fall, typically in late September. Brush is defined as twigs and branches from trees and bushes. Branches must be no more than 8 inches in diameter.  Place piles close to the street with the cut ends towards the curb.  Leaves and grass clippings are not collected as part of brush collection. The Crews will make ONE pass through the Village collecting brush. Residents must have their brush ready for collection by 7:00 AM on the first day of collection to ensure pick-up.

Homeowners wishing to dispose of brush at other times of the year or that miss the annual collection can take the brush to the Yard Waste Collection Site at the Woodland Nature Preserve (N72W22924 Good Hope Road). A Yard Waste Pass or Punch Card is required.  More information on the Village’s Yard Waste Program can be found here.
