Elections

The Village Clerk is responsible for coordinating election activities in the village, including registration of voters, maintenance of voter records and assisting the State in the conduct of elections. All elections are held at the Sussex Civic Center located at N64W23760 Main Street, unless otherwise noted. The polls are open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Questions regarding voting and elections may be directed to the Clerk's Office during regular business hours.

Absentee Voting
In-office absentee voting runs on weekdays for two weeks before an election. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. No absentee voting or voter registration is permitted on the Monday before an election.

For the February Primary, in-office absentee voting will take place at the Sussex Civic Center from February 5 - 16, Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Register to Vote Early
Register to vote early to avoid lines at the Spring Primary on February 20. If you are a first time voter, moved or changed your name, you must register to vote. You can check your registration status and register online  or register in person at the Sussex Civic Center.
 
After January 31, all voter registration must be done in person at the Sussex Civic Center.
